One Piece of Chocolate Cake

“Can I have that piece??” I asked the person in front of me, he seemed jolly.

“Yeah sure” said the person cutting me a piece of chocolate cake, while having a big smile on his face.

Who doesn’t like a good piece of chocolate cake, with strawberry and pineapple toppings, it is odd but it’s my friend’s birthday not mine so I don’t get the cake I love. I love a chocolate cake with more chocolate on it, but that’s me a proud chocoholic. People might be against so much chocoholic’s while they don’t mind a weirdly built cake that has chocolate, strawberry and pineapple; like people should ban this type of cakes. 

The person handed me the cake and at that very moment I realized that this piece of cake is similar to my life. 

Now, you might find this stupid but the piece of cake is just like my life or any other person’s, for that matter. I love chocolate but the toppings are not that good in taste with this cake, that’s what I think. Every person is allowed to have an opinion about the cake.

People always want their cake to be their type but it can’t be on somebody else’s birthday unless you are bringing the cake and surprising him or her. If you like the chocolate and the toppings that means it’s your birthday. In your life you are like a person on somebody else’s birthday which is why you don’t get attention in the world unless you do something stupid or wait for your birthday or your result day on which you get the most calls in your entire life. The chocolate is the thing that you want the most in life; it is a positive point about the cake. The strawberry and pineapple toppings are part of the thing you most want in life but these are the things that you most hate in life or just don’t want those things; it is a negative point about the cake. A negative point in life is losing or not getting something you wanted in life and the positive point is to get something you always wanted in life or winning. There are always few options about what to do with the piece of cake you have in your hand – 
1) Eat the whole piece of cake.
2) Eat the positive points of cake and pluck off the negative points.
3) Eat nothing and throw it directly into the dustbin, without anyone noticing you threw it.
When you eat the whole cake you live life normally enjoying it with all the errors in it but you still get what you wanted and it always feel’s amazing to get something you wanted after losing something less important because getting something is always larger piece than losing something. When you eat only the positive points, you show people how selfish you are or how manner-less you can go and at the end of it people just leave you even after getting the positive points you lose by default.  When you don’t eat the cake and throw it, you waste your life also waste the time of the person who cut you that cake and the person who made it and wished that it would be eaten and be praised. Be sure while throwing it that no one’s watching you or else they will ask you to give the piece to them or tell the birthday boy/girl what you are doing with the cake, you can also walk around and trip yourself so the cake falls down and you will be unable to eat it but there is a chance of some other person around you trying to offer you his piece of cake then you have to eat it so better be safe while throwing it. Different people have different choices and if you have all positive points in the cake and enjoyed eating it that means it’s your birthday you are lucky to have everything perfect but what you missed something exciting, the errors, which are actually fun but see it this way if you don’t fail or lose in life it will get quiet boring and do remember you might get diabetes as you love the cake and you eat all of it. 

I did start eating my piece of chocolate cake with the toppings it did not feel great in the start because of the toppings but later on I felt the chocolate with my tongue which felt something as great as getting a prize you always wanted and for which you had to cross many hurdles. (I swear I didn’t throw up)
